Last week\u2019s lecture by Dr. Lesley Pullen on \u2018<em>Patterned Splendour: Textiles Depicted on Javanese Sculpture 8th to 15th Century\u2019<\/em> is <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vbhr9DyaJz4\">now available<\/a><\/strong> on YouTube for people to view.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><strong><u>December Events: <\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><em><u>Professor Alka Patel book launch reminder: <\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n<p>Next Friday evening (3<sup>rd<\/sup> December) at 6.30pm, the Society will be holding a hybrid book launch for Professor Alka Patel\u2019s publication \u2018<em>Iran to India:\u00a0The Shansab\u0101n\u012bs of Afghanistan, c. 1145-1190 CE\u2019.\u00a0<\/em>This will be a joint event with the Islamic Art Circle. Handel\u2019s Radamisto (1720)\u2019. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>This event will be <em>in-person only<\/em>, taking place on the Society\u2019s premises.
